Common questions
We are not in any of those four. Are we too small or too ordinary?
No. Most of our work is the same wherever a client trades, and plenty of our clients sit outside the four. The specialisms exist because those sectors carry compliance work that takes years to learn, not because we only want that kind of client.
Does a specialist sector cost more?
The managed service is priced the same way for everyone, on staff and devices. Sector work like a DSPT submission or Cyber Essentials readiness is scoped separately so you can see what it costs and decide on it by itself.
We sit in two of these. Which page applies?
Both, and it happens more than you would think. A charity running care services carries the DSPT work and the funding work at once. Read whichever page describes the harder half and we will cover the rest when we talk.
Do you support the software our sector runs on?
We run the IT underneath it: the accounts, the devices, the network and the data it sits on. Support for the application itself stays with the vendor who wrote it, which is where the expertise and the fix actually live. We deal with them alongside you when something needs chasing.
