Do we qualify for Microsoft's education pricing?
Most recognised education settings do, including nurseries and tuition centres that assume the offer is only meant for schools. Proving eligibility is the part that puts people off applying, so we handle it with Microsoft from start to finish and tell you early if you don't qualify.
We have no IT person. Where does that leave us?
Where most of the settings we work with started. We become the people your staff call. We also set things up so the everyday tasks don't need someone technical standing behind them.
Can you set up filtering and monitoring ready for an inspection?
We put the filtering and monitoring in place and keep the records tidy, so what you tell an inspector is backed by something that works. The safeguarding policy stays yours. Our part is making sure the technology does what your policy says it does.
Do you handle communication with parents?
No. Talking to families is your team's job and we wouldn't want it any other way. We provide the secure email and messaging they use, then make sure it arrives and that the records are kept properly.
Our staff share the same tablets and laptops. Can that be safe?
Yes. It is usually safer than everyone using their own phone. Shared devices get managed profiles and separate sign-ins, so photos and records stay in your systems rather than in someone's camera roll.
We're a small setting on a term-time budget. Is there a minimum contract?
We size support to the setting rather than selling a package built for a corporation. Tell us how many staff and devices you have and what worries you most. We will shape it from there.
