Unlocking Microsoft 365 Grants
If you are a recognised UK charity, you shouldn't be paying full price for email and documents. We handle the application to unlock up to 300 free Microsoft 365 Business Basic licences and up to 75% off Microsoft licensing where your team needs more than the free tier offers. Google's charity programme gets the same treatment, with Non-Profit pricing on Workspace for the organisations it suits better.

Off the Old Server, Into the Cloud
Plenty of charities still run a server in a cupboard that someone's predecessor bought. It works until it doesn't. Replacing it costs money the mission needs, so moving email, files and the systems your team lives in up to Microsoft 365 and Azure turns a capital purchase into a running cost your funding can carry. Sponsored Azure credits go a long way at charity scale.

Donor and Beneficiary Data
Charities hold more sensitive information than their size suggests: supporter records, giving history and often details about the people they exist to help. Continuity and Policies for Trustees
Trustees carry the governance. IT tends to sit on the risk register with very little written underneath it. Kory Pay: donations and Gift Aid, coming soon
We have plumbed enough donation tools into charity websites, accounts and Gift Aid claims to know where the work actually goes. The money arrives, then someone spends the rest of the week working out which fund it belongs to and chasing the declarations that add another 25p to every pound. The larger platforms still leave that gap. We got tired of working around it, so we are building Kory Pay to close it.
Campaigns and funds are set up in Kory Pay and the widget drops into your own site. Donations arrive sorted by fund, with every Gift Aid declaration captured alongside the donation and ready to claim. It is in development now and this page will be updated the day it goes live. The people behind A2Z IT spent years at an MSP that looked after charities and Non-Profits exclusively, supporting some of the UK's best-known names in the sector. That included a couple of years embedded onsite at a major UK charity, leading its service desk and looking after everything down to the on-prem kit for an organisation of more than 200 staff. We know what it is to stretch a grant and justify every pound that doesn't go to the mission, because we've worked inside organisations that live by that.
Charity and Non-Profit FAQs
How do we know if we qualify for the Microsoft grant?
If you are a UK registered charity or otherwise recognised as a Non-Profit, most likely you do. Proving it is the part that puts people off, so we handle the application with Microsoft from start to finish and tell you early if you don't qualify rather than after weeks of waiting.
A volunteer looks after our IT. Where would you fit?
Alongside them, usually. Plenty of the organisations we work with have someone giving their time generously. We take on the parts that need accountability rather than goodwill: accounts, backup, security and anything that has to keep working while that person is away.
Can you work to a grant with a fixed end date?
Yes. Project work can be scoped to a funding window and delivered inside it. We would rather agree what happens when the money stops at the start than leave you to discover it at the end.
Do we have to move everything at once?
No. We move in stages, normally email first, then files, then whatever else is left. Nothing gets switched off until the thing replacing it is working.
Is Cyber Essentials worth it for a small charity?
If you bid for local authority or government money, it is increasingly the difference between being eligible and not. If you don't, it is still the cheapest way to know your basics are right.
